Women represent 47% of the world’s workforce, and while the past 40 years have been marked by progress for women in leadership, there is a still a long way to go in most industries to achieve equity—a situation all the more bleak for women of color. In recognition of how the women Walden educates will fill leadership needs in our global society, we are gearing up for our shared future by sponsoring this two-day conference. Participants will engage in a dialogue about cross-disciplinary solutions that address gender inequities for women in leadership. Presentations, workshops, panel discussions and virtual art and poster galleries will showcase work, practice, and critical lessons learned by Walden faculty, staff, students and alumni.
