Global Days of Service 2021

Walden University’s Center for Social Change is proud to announce our Global Days of Service 2021 events! This will be our 16th year of Global Days of Service (GDS). GDS is a time of year that allows our entire Walden community to unite, honor, and celebrate our commitment to social change through both service and growth as changemakers.

During the week of October 18 – 24, Walden students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community will come together for an enriching selection of opportunities that promote skill-building and direct service for social change related to our three focus areas this year:

Youth development
Global literacy
Storytelling for social change

Learn about and register for our featured service opportunities like creating virtual videos for youth, donating books and supplies for libraries and classrooms, and more!

Connect with your Walden community in the Storytelling Hub, and other networking channels about your experiences and learnings with GDS!

Walden Change Action Network (WeCan)

As always, you can access and explore only the service events in WeCAN. You will also be able submit an opportunity for others (Submit Opportunity) or add your independent project (Add impact). The app will also have resources and links to WeCAN starting Oct. 11.
